Centre Place Family Centre is for anyone. We are not just a Sure Start Children's Centre that offers information, support and services to families and young children. We also offer an innovative approach to housing enquiries and provide services to all ages and family circumstances. Whether you're a child, a teenager, a parent or you're a bit older, Centre Place Family Centre is for you...

Our regular activities.....

 Monday 10am - 12 midday

Job Club starts 18/05/15.  Write CVs, practise interview techniques, ICT basic skills, job applications, support to return to work and advice on universal credit.

  10am - 12 midday Freedom - Referrals only - Creche spaces available - must be booked in advance. Suggested donation for creche place £2
  12 midday - 2pm Community Cafe - Sandwiches and coffees and teas at reasonable prices. Cost as per menu
Evening 5.30pm -7.30pm KICKZ (Fitness for 12-18 year olds) Meet the Kickz team outside the Centre. No access to the centre. Free
  7pm - 8pm Zumba - Active Women - ladies only. Free
Tuesday  9.30am -10.30am

Fun Fitness for ladies only - Creche spaces available - must be booked in advance.
(Term-time only)

  12 midday - 2pm Community Cafe - Sandwiches and coffees and teas at reasonable prices. Cost as per menu
  3.30pm - 4.30pm Construction/Lego Club  - An after school Club for children to develop physical, creative and design skills - snack included. Suggested donation for snack 50p
  4.30pm - 7pm Triple T - (Dance and team games for 8-12 year olds - must be registered with Turning Tides to attend) Free
 Wednesday 9am - 4pm Ante Natal Clinic (midwife appointment only) Free
  9.30am - 11am Friends Together - Support group for parents/carers of children with emotional and social needs. Free by referral
  12 midday - 2pm Community Cafe - Sandwiches and coffees and teas at reasonable prices. Cost as per menu
  2pm - 4pm Housing drop-in session - housing officer available to answer queries.  
 Evening 5.30pm -6.30pm Youth Club (8-11 years) Free
  6.45pm -8.30pm Youth Club (12-16 years) Free
Thursday 09.30am - 11.30am Baby & Toddler Group - Learning through play and senses - snack included at 11am.

  1pm -3pm Baby Buddies - Baby Weigh Stay and Play (with health visitor to answer any questions) Sessions to include advice on weaning, breast feeding and sensory play for you and your baby. Suggested donation for teas and coffees 50p
 Friday 9.30am - 11.30am Parent Drop in Support Group - Term time only - limited creche spaces available must be booked in advance. Suggested donation for teas and coffees 50p
