Support living & registered care homes

We provide care, support and accommodation to people living in Registered Nursing and Care Homes and in supported living projects.

Who lives in these properties?

People who may have learning disabilities, mental health problems, be frail elderly, or a combination of these factors.

We aim to:

• Provide safe, comfortable accommodation
• Provide high quality care and support that meets people's needs
• Support people to integrate into their community
• Support people to maintain their tenancy
• Work in partnership with other care providers and service commissioners to ensure that people’s needs are met

Someone in my family has a disability, why aren't we dealt with by this department instead of general needs housing?

We have many residents with disabilities whose needs can be met through our general needs housing.

The places we offer through our Supported Housing and Care department are organised through Social Services and you cannot apply directly to us for one. If you would like advice on how to approach Social Services please contact our Supported Housing and Care department and they will be happy to talk to you.
