Mortgage rescue

Estuary is proud to be part of the syndication in providing the government’s mortgage rescue scheme in Essex and in the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge.   We work with the Lead Housing Association’s (Moat for Essex and Metropolitan Housing Group for London) to help some of the most vulnerable households facing repossession to stay in their homes and within their communities.

The Lead Housing Association can only take referrals/applications for mortgage rescue from local authorities or from the government’s Fast Track team who are is working with mortgage lenders to help people who require this assistance.

Mortgage rescue is not available to shared owners. If you have a shared ownership property with Estuary, and are in financial difficulty, please refer to our Flexible Tenure section.
