Actions that can be taken

The actions will depend on:

• The type of behaviour and it’s impact on others
• The age of the perpetrator
• Whether the perpetrator is a resident
• Whether the perpetrator is vulnerable
• What actions are likely to be effective.

We will discuss options with you for resolving your particular case but they will mean co-operation from you. Some options we may consider are:

• Mediation
• Warning letters and visits
• Using other agencies such as the local authority, Environmental Health and Police
• Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs)
• Parenting Contracts
